Carla LeLaCheur, Broker/Owner of American Homes Realty is a Montgomery County, Kansas native where she was raised as a farmer’s daughter. Being one of 5 children and only 1 of those being a boy, her dad believed in girls doing farm work. Carla loved growing up on a farm and felt this gives her some insight into what farmers and ranchers need in a real estate company. Carla is licensed in Kansas and Oklahoma. With 37+ years experience in the sale of farms, ranches, investment property, seller’s agent, buyer’s agent and commercial, you can count on her to be able to solve all your real estate needs.
Carla started her career with Century 21 in 1986. She received several top sales awards and was named Centurion Agent, the highest award given by Century 21. In 1992 she opened her own office "American Homes Realty" in addition to selling real estate Carla owns investment properties. Her years of experience and knowledge give her agents the best possible training available. A firm believer in continued education, Carla has the distinct and prestigious CRB (Certified Residential Broker) designation. Dean LeLaCheur comes to American Homes Realty with over 20 years of sales experience. Dean's family has a long history in South Coffeyville; they owned the John Deere Dealership from 1973-1991. Dean then worked for Jensen Manufacturing from 1991-2001, selling truck beds. After leaving Jensen, Dean started what would become a successful rental management company. Thomas Darbro is a Montgomery County native and currently lives in Southeast Kansas. His Great Grandfather purchased property and moved to Chautauqua County from Missouri in 1946. At 17 years old after completing high school Thomas joined the US Navy as an Intelligence Specialist. In 2008 he moved back to Independence to help take care of his father. Thomas has past experience in freight logistics, water treatment and environmental science, as well as serving the community as a Police Officer. In 2017 he began investing in rental properties and 2018 he continued investing in the community by purchasing two self-storage facilities serving Coffeyville and the surrounding area.
